I found this cute Valentine’s idea from a favorite blog of mine – Kate Takes 5
Kate has written down 5 things that she’d love to receive on Valentine’s and prompted others to do the same.
If it isn’t a great way to throw some hints out there I don’t know what is!
Much like Kate, I have been ‘informed’ over the years that we too, do not ‘do’ Valentine’s Day. Ugh? Excuse me, Mr S. Yes WE do! He finally took the hint over the years, and a card suffices, but to boast a little, I am being taken for a romantic candle-lit dinner this year, at the restaurant he proposed to me in.
I get to re-live it, yay! I promise not to scream out in happiness this time though, and startle fellow diners.
So, in true lust-list making style, here it is;
1. A pair of Swarovski Champagne Flutes.
Oh Mr S, I want to toast our Wedding Day with these Champagne flutes, the birth of our first baby, and the baby after that, and the baby after that. When our kids have flown the nest, drink to our retirement and our Golden Wedding Anniversary. What lovely things to hold memories – and a glass of fizz. They have crystals in the stem of the flutes, can you see them!? Ah-may-zing.
2. A cable-knit blanket, perhaps with a bit of Cashmere mix.
I think you owe me this one, dear. That masculine black leather couch is so so cold. I’d be inclined to sit and snuggle with you forever under this, and will promise to stop nagging you to buy that Chenille corner couch they keep advertising on the TV.
3. A classic Chanel 5.55 in black.
This one needs no explanation. It has been on every birthday, Christmas, Valetines and anniversary wishlist since the beginning of time.
4. Another Kitten
Again, no explanations – just one look will make you melt. We might have to patch up the wallpaper again, but that was fun! Wasn’t it?
5. My Dream House.
Ya know, just in case you are feeling flush!

Thanks so much for joining in. Love your site and love your list. The problem with this one is that my own list is getting longer and longer with each list I read. I now need those glasses, that blanket, the bag and the cat to put in that house. Oh dear.

I know! Aren’t they gorgeous? I can imagine them on the couch with that adorable kitten snuggled up on them in that dream house. Only a few days to find out if I get everything on the list! ;o)

The champagne flutes are gorgeous. I have a soft spot for pretty glassware, it makes everything taste better.

Just those flowers at the top would do it for me. You have great taste in dream houses, that looks like a wonderful home. What a lucky person in the front yard!
That house is definitely on my wish list but they don’t make them like that over here in UK!

I share every want except for the kitty, nice and cute to look at if someone else has it but I had a cat and he was a nightmare! I hate their independence too, I’m definitely a dog person!
