Anthea Turner is like Marmite, or Vegemite, or whatever corresponding love it/hate it item you have in your home country.
As a former host of UK Television show ‘Blue Peter’, she became a popular TV personality in the 1990′s, but kind of fell off the radar for a while.
In 2006, that all changed when she tried a career comeback with “Anthea Turner – Perfect Housewife”. I remember this airing in the UK and being so excited about watching it every week and channeling my inner Stepford Wife.
My friends in back in the US tell me that this has just started to air on TV over there?
Seriously, if you get a chance to watch it, enjoy it girls, or loathe it, whatever. I think its brilliant.

Anthea taught me so many household tricks and tips and really was the one who “started it all” for me. She made me realize that it is cool to pride yourself in how to fold towels.
So despite your rather embarrassing product promoting publicity stunt at your own wedding, I’ll forgive you that Anthea.

Just come back with another Perfect Housewife series, K!? I only have your book to read, and miss your sunny disposition on my television screen.

Loved Anthea’s programme when it was on BBC 3 and watched it every week without fail and even bought the dvd’s of series 1 and 2, however I cannot for the life of me find any other series except the two I have. Please please please can anyone help me? I can’t even find it online.
Yours desperately
Dianne xx
I love Anthea too. I bought her two Perfect Housewife series from Amazon UK and watch them over and over. I even have them on in the background when I’m doing housework sometimes. They keep me motivated! I am so hoping series 3 will be released eventually. I wrote to the company that released series one and two on dvd but they told me they don’t have the rights for series 3. I have the pink How to be a Perfect Housewife book also. Ahh, Anthea, you changed the way I think about my home.
